California bill on providing equitable investment in child care cites the COI

A new bill proposed in the California state legislature would require the collection of community-level data on indicators that matter for racial and economic equity in order to provide the state’s highest need communities with additional investments for early childhood infrastructure and resources. The bill recommends the COI as a potential screening tool.
